World War 3?

Zionism. Islamophobia. The Strait of Hormuz. Gas prices. What defines victory? And why isn't anyone talking about Lebanon?

We said you could ask us anything. You took us literally. It’s our first ask-us-anything episode at Avenue M, live and unedited.

We went live last week to talk about the Iran War. Listeners and viewers sent in incredibly tough, urgent questions, hoping to learn more. In Episode 16, we respond, honestly, directly, and faithfully—from Zionism to Islamophobia, to America’s supposed aims to American democracy and how we fix this, this was one of our hardest, heaviest episodes yet.

There was lots we agreed on. We share a love of faith, after all, and a commitment to facts. (Where else are you going to find that?) There were nevertheless some points of tension, at times unexpected—Haroon’s a patriotic traditionalist, or at least Joey’s worried that’s the case—which must be continued. What does it mean to balance love of country and love of faith?

How should we think about the End Times?

And what’s the purpose of ummah right now?

Avenue M: Faith. Plus Facts.

As always, you can check us out above or watch the full episode on YouTube

You’ll find Avenue M on Apple and Spotify, as well as wherever else you get your most important podcasts. (We’re on Instagram, too!)

We’d love for you to like and subscribe.

Your support helps us keep going, reach new audiences, and challenge media that excludes faith (or facts). In weeks to come, we’ll continue with the live episodes, we’ve got some exciting guests in the works, but most of all, we want to hear from you. What aren’t we thinking about? What should we be talking about? Whose voice are we missing?

Avenue M is produced by Bespoken Live with music by Zach Swelber, who plays in Circle It and Mosant.
